CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped create a more authentic rendition of weapons handling, house cleaning, location, squad-based action, etc… Featured in Premios Soberano (2024). I’m a fan of Yellowstone & most of Taylor Sheridan’s work. This is going too far, though. Now things have to go wrong for the plot to develop, but wow! This group of apparent special agents are inept. They ruin every operation they take. From the opening scene where the insurgents start attacking before they realize they might be evil, to the ridiculous decision to use an unusually miserable woman (the main character) to befriend a rowdy partygoer who becomes a target. if it weren’t for the fact that it’s supposed to be taken seriously. Others have already stated here that the main character is painted as some kind of supergirl. And that’s correct. She’s like a terminator! My main problem, however, is that she’s really implausible.
